About me.
Hi, I’m Rosebelle (pronounced “ROSE-a-bell”). I hold a BA in Media Communication from Asbury University and I’ve been working professionally in digital marketing for over 5 years. I’m a multi-faceted creative with skills in design, photography, and video production. As I’ve grown in my experience, I’ve also become more experienced with branding and communication strategy. One of my biggest strengths lies in ideation and concept development. I thrive on bringing fresh, innovative perspectives to fuel creative solutions.
Skills & Experience
I am very skilled in areas of design, photography, and video production. While I have experience with print work, I am more passionate about the power of digital content. When I started my career at Crossroads Church of God, I leaned into my power as a “jane-of-all-trades,” using all my skills for a full strategy of social media, website, and digital marketing (I thank Company 119 for my high school internship training in SEO). Through my non-profit work, I learned the power of relationship marketing and community engagement.
When I transitioned to AR Marketing, my role became more specialized as I handled my clients in Graphic Design and video work. I learned to balance the quick workflow of digital content creation for social media, as well as the deep-focus work required for larger video and branding projects.
When I joined the Communications & Marketing Team at Ohio Northern University as a project manager, I was excited to gain more experience in strategy and project leadership. In working on projects in a range of scopes and sizes, I discovered that I love organizing and delivering feedback while maintaining a customer-service-like relationship with ongoing clients. In my time at ONU, I onboarded the team on their first project-management system, helping workflows and feedback flow smoothly on both the team and client end of the project.
My Ideal
When it comes to my work - I. Love. Software.
For the Adobe Creative Cloud, I’m strongest in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro. When it comes to Project Management, I have experienced ClickUp, Wrike, Monday, and Trello (and I like them all for different scenarios). I’m always playing around with new apps and doing research on the next piece of technology, including following the advancements in AI.
My ideal team is full of go-getters who value collaboration. I thrive when there’s an energy of community and social activity.
When it comes to my ideal work environment, I have worked it all: in-person, hybrid, and remote. I find that my preferred method of working is hybrid or remote, but I’m also considering in-person work for cities where I hope to relocate. I enjoy the social life and collaboration of an in-person team, but I also value retreating to accomplish deep work and batch creative productivity. I value creativity, collaboration, and work-life balance.
Where I’m Going
I was recently laid off from my job at Ohio Northern University due to budget cuts (a decision from administration that was unrelated to my work performance and affected many others as well). I’m open to either a broad creative role or a more specialized role, and I hope to grow my creative assets. As much as I enjoy being empowered to manage projects and provide creative insight, I feel energized when I contribute directly to the creative work. However, as I grow in my career, I have a long-term goal to move in the direction of a Creative Director (perhaps in brand strategy or multimedia production), as I believe my knack for creativity and organization would make me a strong asset on any creative team.
